Day 7

Sadly, only one thing of note happened today. I got an interview!!! Here are just a few shots of car art I took on my jog.

With Lucky Brand Jeans. Haha.. Hopefully it goes well, so I can focus more on finding a job that can help me grow a healthy resume.

The multitude of jobs that I have recently applied to:

- Lucky Brand Jeans
- Federal Reserve of San Francisco
- Express
- A burger joint
- A sustainable architectural firm
- PetCo as a directors intern
- PetCo as a sales associate
- A countless amount of other jobs.

Question:
Whats your favorite color? Haha... baseless, tasteless, and deeply insightful question to be sure.

Wasn't sure where else to reply to your comment on my blog. I agree with you that we are different, and that no amount of wanting everyone to be similar will make it happen. We can't cause immediate, permanent changes, but a step in the right direction is needed on both sides of the racial barrier, not just one, as is commonly believe and accepted.

One of the big points in my post was that if people dislike stereotyping against their particular race, then they need to work harder to make it so that people don't have a reason to stereotype. Because whether I fill the stereotypical white male role or not, there are others who do. Just like not every black person is not the epitome of black stereotypes, there are those who are. It just so happens that people who are in the media know that there is a lot of money to be made by playing out a stereotype, and until those kinds of people stop (I'm talking about the Dave Chappelles and the Rush Limbaughs of the world) doing that, we really can't advance into an equal world.
